Michele E. Hoopes

Michele Hoopes joined NIS in January 2017 as Chief Operating Officer. She brings 30+ years of industry knowledge as an information technology professional, manager and executive, and has served small and large firms in the Federal, Defense, and commercial sectors. Michele has extensive experience in program management, operations, organizational change management, quality programs, business and proposal operations. She is responsible for client relations, contract operations, human resources, and corporate growth.

Michele holds a BS degree in Management Information Systems and Decision Sciences from George Mason University. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Version 3 Practitioner, and a Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
