Susanna Thornton
Director, Contracts
Susanna Thornton joined NIS in August 2023. She brings 20+ years of professional experience in federal government contracting in the IT industry for a variety of large and small businesses. Susanna has expertise in full lifecycle contract management in support of both Department of Defense and civilian agencies contracts and is well versed in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR). She has experience managing multi-million dollar GWAC and IDIQ contracts. Susanna’s responsibilities include proposal preparation and subcontract management, as well as supporting general procurement and compliance activities.
Susanna holds a BS degree in Economics from George Mason University and is a member of the National Contract Management Association.
